Boost gauges are mainly used on diesel vehicles with a turbocharger or supercharger. They can also be used on turbo or supercharged gasoline vehicles where you are not concerned about measuring the vacuum level.

Boost gauges are good for determining lack of boost due to air leaks, blow off valve malfunction or waste gate adjustment required. Too much boost can cause total engine failure due to excessive cylinder pressure and detonation.

Before selecting a boost guage you will need to know the maximum boost output of your application. When selecting a boost gauge you will want a dial range where your maximum boost level falls in the mid-range of full dial range.

During normal driving, the boost gauge will generally rest at zero when there is no boost. As you accelerate, the gauge will indicate the boost pressure as it increases.

1-1/2" Direct Mount Boost Gauges
Keep an eye on boost pressure with our 1-1/2" boost pressure gauges. Available in a variety of pressure ranges and dial styles. Our boost gauges are liquid filled to provide vibration resistant readings. The gauges have a center back 1/8" NPT male fitting. U-Clamp mount is available.

Our boost pressure gauges are competitively priced and can be provided with custom dials and ranges on request. Custom dials are available. A minimum order of 100 boost pressure gauges per dial applies for custom dial orders. A one-time set up charge applies for each dial.
